The Hendersonville Citizen Fire Academy Association (HCFAA) is a dedicated group of Citizen Fire Academy graduates committed to strengthening the bond between our community and the brave men and women of the Hendersonville Fire Department. We believe that by working together, we can build a safer, more connected Hendersonville for everyone. As a vital Hendersonville non-profit, we are passionate about community engagement and providing a platform for citizens to support their local heroes.

Mission & Purpose

Our Mission

The Hendersonville Citizen Fire Academy Association (HCFAA), an organization of Citizen Fire Academy graduates, is dedicated to supporting the Hendersonville Fire Department in fostering better relationships between citizens and fire through building safer, community-oriented neighborhoods in which people can work, play, and raise their families.

Our purpose

The purpose of the Association shall be to:

  • Support to the concept of community fire awareness by assisting the department in bringing educational opportunities and services to citizens.
  • Provide a network for academy graduates to serve the community and the Hendersonville Fire Department.
  • Embrace fundraising opportunities to raise funds for fire equipment, community benevolence, and other special needs.
